Announcement date rumor update

The latest rumors from numerous sources are that the announcement date has been postponed again. Expect the announcement to be made anywhere between next Wednesday and next March.

Comments:
Check your source again.
Linton Brooks is on his way Thursday.

That date falls within the error bars.

Please post me anonymously--thanks. Regarding the Linton visit--how does this "user" know this to be true? Do we have yet another rumor? Where is the proof? No announcement as of yet...

You do wonder just how long this mess can continue? Also you wonder once an announcement is made if that decision could be the subject of a lawsuit stalling it yet again? Think that this is possible? Think that ultimately this could have to be decided by the courts?

Could it end up in the courts? That depends. If UC is selected then it most certainly will end up in the courts, because it can easily be proven that the selection was not made on merit. Look at the shambles UC has made of running LANL, then look at the success LM has had in running Sandia. There is no comparison.

Anyone have friends at NSA? We could end this speculation if we just tap all their phones. No warrant needed :-)

Heard the same rumor today.

No problem from me. There are millions of conversations both in writing and on the phones that need to be listened to. I only wish this was one of them but have no fear this blog is probably watched very closely, I assure you. Again I will say. There is no problem unless you want to start posting things that you know you are not supposed to. I am sure that Doug will do his best to keep our identity anon. Enjoy

PS: I hear that we should know tomorrow or the next day. Lets see how good my source is.

No comparison indeed. We lose stickers, they lose explosives.

dug,

The explosives were stolen from Cherry Engineering, a company owned by Chris Cherry, a scientist at Sandia National Labs.

Not from Sandia.
