Regain Some of Their Self-respect

From Anonymous:

Somebody made an interesting comment to me today about the blog. This someone is a Los Alamos native and a non-LANL employee. This person is a part of the local business community. The comment went something like this: "It's interesting to see the folks at LANL starting to regain some of their self-respect, even beginning to find their center again after so many months of intimidation and abuse. The freedom and social dynamic that the blog has provided has made an amazing difference in the attitude of LANL staff."

This venue has provided a cathartic opportunity to express owns thoughts. It's almost like being at a confessional in which the priest's name is Brother Anonymous.

Then again maybe it 's more like a modern version of the Millagro Beanfield Wars. Standing on principle to confront injustice and tyranny is what this blog site is all about.

Thanks Doug for your leadership!
Doug Roberts is clearly a hero and a leader in the truest sense of the word. When the history of Los Alamos National Laboratory is written (don't worry, folks; it ain't goin' away any time soon), he'll have a prominent place as one who spoke truth to power, in spite of personal danger. If only we had more like him.

Doug, thank you so very much for this blog! Even if Nanos eventually wins and the lab goes down the tubes, at least we will have gone down fighting for the place we love.
The best thing about this confessional is that we get to confess the sins of others.
